Daniel T. Carlisle is a 1984 graduate of the University of North Dakota and a 1988 graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law. He is a member of the Minnesota and North Dakota State Bar Associations, Seventh Judicial District Bar Association, Counsel of School Attorneys, past member of the Seventh District Ethics Committee, 2003 President of the Seventh Judicial District Bar Association, a member of the Governing Council of the Minnesota State Bar Associations Civil Litigation Section, a member of the Board of Directors of the Wadena Community Center and the Leaf River Chapter of the Minnesota Waterfowl Association. Dan is a recipient of the 2001 "Rising Stars of Minnesota Law" award issued by Law & Politics magazine, has lectured at national and state-wide legal seminars, and has been the successful legal counsel on cases argued in the Minnesota Court of Appeals and the North Dakota Supreme Court.

His passions include spending time with his family, pursing upland game with his two English Setters and volunteering for the Wadena Youth Hockey Association.
