Claire Thompson is an attorney at Pemberton Law in Fergus Falls, where she practices labor and employment law. Claire is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Claire received her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduation, she served as an AmeriCorps member for Emerge Community Development, a non-profit located in Northeast Minneapolis. Claire attended the University of North Dakota Law School where she graduated cum laude. During her time at law school, Claire served as the research editor for the North Dakota Law Review and participated in a semester long internship with the North Dakota Legislative Counsil during the 2021 legislative session. Prior to joining Pemberton, Claire clerked for the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers with the North Dakota Supreme Court and the Honorable Alice R. Senechal with the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys traveling, reading nearly any book she can get her hands on, binging a reality television show or documentary, engaging in creative expression, spending quality time with loved ones, and going on walks with her partner, Andy and their dog, Winnie.
