Sue is originally from Wausau, Wisconsin.  She graduated from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology-Criminal Justice and with a minor in Speech Communications in 1992.  She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin in 1995.  Sue moved to Wadena, Minnesota in 1996 and has worked for District Court Judge Timothy J. Baland and Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota. 

Sue is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Seventh Judicial District Bar Association.  She is also a member of the Wadena Women Volunteers, a community service organization.  Sue serves on the board of directors for the Wadena County Developmental Achievement Center and for the Wadena Deer Creek Foundation.  She is a past board of directors member and chairperson of the Wadena County Crisis and Referral Program. 

Sue has been in private practice since 2002.  She practices family law, real estate, and other general practice areas.

Sue and her family make their home in Wadena, Minnesota where they enjoy family and community events.
