Mike takes pride in servicing a broad clientele base located in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Canada.

Originally from St. Cloud, Mike graduated from St. Cloud State before going on to William Mitchell College of Law, where he received his law degree. Mike's law practice areas include employment law, school law, and personal injury law. He joined the firm in 1985.

Mike feels his strength as a lawyer comes from his willingness to listen and offer advice and direction in the best interests of the client.

Mike is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Otter Tail County Bar Association, Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, North Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Minnesota School Boards Association Council of School Attorneys. He is licensed to practice in state and federal courts, in both Minnesota and North Dakota, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Community activities are an important part of Mike's life. He is on the board of Backcourt Club and coaches a youth basketball team. In addition to being active in Our Lady of Victory Church, he and his wife, Carol, are very involved with their four children, Nathan, Anna, Rebecca, and Zachery, and their many activities. On the professional side, Mike is serving as a member of the statewide board "Client Security Board" appointed by the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Mike's special interests include wildlife habitat renovation, hunting, fishing, and anything that takes him outdoors!
